Charles has always been an avid hunter, from the early days in New York to the present day. Hunting season was in the plans for every season, and our freezer was full of elk, deer, buffalo, pigs, sheep and lamb, a variety of birds. He even made a trip to Africa. All of the kids enjoy the hunting, and his son in particular shared this sport.

Along with this background, he enjoyed old guns. His favorites were Winchesters and Remingtons in particular, the older the better. From his collection, he began a small business to buy and sell these old guns. His daughter Jacqueline took over the parts side of the business (www.homesteadparts.com .
Between the two of them, they buy and sell old guns and parts for repairing them all over the world.
